image dynamics id max 12v3d2 vs JL Audio 13.5 w6v2

I'm looking to buy either 2 13.5" JL Audio w6v2's or 2 12" Image dynamics IDMAX 12v3d2. Both will be run off a Phoenix Gold tantrum 1200.1. I'm looking for a sub that has really good sound quality but will still put out some good spl. What sub would be the better choice for me? Thanks.

Can't go wrong either way...seriously. Both are excellent choices.

Depending on the box, that power is probably better suited towards the JL's though IMO
