Well, I'm going to be doing an install for the wife soon. She has a '98 Explorer and I've already got the Q-Form kick panel pods.. so I'm going to put the iD CTX6.5CS' in the kick panel.. now I still need speakers for the rear doors..

Seeing as the backseat obviously isn't as important to me, but soundstaging is relatively important.. How about the PG RSD5cs' from woofersetc.com ?

Is there anything else in the $60 price range that would be a viable option for the back doors?

Also, I know it's the speakers forum.. but what should I be aiming for in need of an affordable 4ch amp.. (affordable = best bang for the buck).

Get the MB Quart 4125 4-channel it is a great lil Amp.

Id get 5x7 or 6x8's for the rear door so I wouldn't have to fool with making a bracket

you should rethink adding speakes to rear doors, why well if you have good set of comps up front of you you'll want to keep your sound stage in front of you.

you can ten add a nice little 8-10 IB in your rear deck.

But no matter what speakers you buy you will need to deaden everything in that car.

when you do the kicks i'd try to vent behind them that way the mid has more room. also i've heard some ppl say they've had to strengthen the pods too.
