hopefully soon, i'm gonna buy 2 12's to replace my 8" TB's. i was looking at ID subs simply because they can go inside small enclosures. unlike the other children here, i'm interested in reaching my spare tire if i need to, as well as puttin car necessities in the trunk.

anyway, between the ID and IDQ subs, which is considered the SQL one?

i read every now and then from some posts when i did a search, the IDQ seems to be a bit more SQ then the ID........ is that true? of course ALLLLLLLLL of u know, i listen to some rap, mainly R&b and jazz. listenin to alot of NPR too ( yes, black people DO listen to NPR, fukker!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif)

The ID line has more mechanical displacement via more stroke than the iDQ line. Overall about the same volume from both lines but the IDQ's fit in smaller enclosures. the power handling of the ID series is a little lower but with more XMAX will handle more power. I think I got that right. Check out the ID site. They're very helpful there.

Some people feel the ID series is tighter sounding but those of us who know how things work know the box is 80% of the final outcome. So I say if you're tight for space.....IDQ. Otherwise....ID.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/santa.gif.e1ec9cf2e0a0dd232ad35aa594a126d0.gif

Loving ID

My cousin has a 10" IDQ in his camaro, sounds very goood, its in 1 cube sealed. Not the loudest. But sounds very good.

Currently i have a 12" idmax and i absolutely love the sub man, and ive owned a couple uberwoofers (XXX, claw basket mag) Like the sound quite a bit more than both. Louder than my old mag, but not the XXX

ID get 2 big thumbs up in my book

Yeah just one, and its ported in a ragtop eclipse. And the sound carrys much better with this sub, than my others.This sub has made a big impression on me.

It made me not want to buy a new mag

I just got a IDQ 12" last week and man is this sub super clean. Very accurate and fast hitting sub. i am very pleased with it.

32 and i think its set to about 800 or so watts
