Im trying to make my pc mouse look like night rider.. help needed with mod

Ok I have the mouse done except for the led on the front that lights up.

What I did after I painted it is turned it on and there was a little sliver of red showing after I painted the mouse. The idea came to me.. COOL lets make that led move back n forth like the night rider car. Has to be such a Red led that does that.

please help

To each his own as far as why you want to do what you're doing, but to a wired mouse?
