Im told its CLIPPING???

I have a radio & i posted this issue a couple of days ago & I complained about how when I turn up the volume the sound gets distorted. Now I'm told that my sumthin is clipping & I need another amp specifically for the speakers.......does this sound legit??(New Years not too far away)

yup sounds like clipping. get a higher quality amp if you have one now...or if u dont have one you definantly should get one. give us the specs of your speakers and we can help you out with an amp.

Just for my own info, clipping sounds like distortion and the speakers "waffle" (sound like paper rattling) at higher volumes. I know what it is, but what's descriptive of the sound?

That sounds good. Turn the gain down on amp and level control if it has one. Only if you want to keep this amp for some reason. If not rms match next time for ur speakers. Comon kistake is people overpower speakers so bad.
