Going from a 10 to 2x15's.....going to be a lot different!! I can't comment on current Fosgates, but I have heard (from my DD dealer) that they have started to get their $hit back in order. I fell in love with my 2 JL 12w3v3's, was hurt, d@mn near broken when I blew one then I got these 2 DD 15's......short memorial service let's say.

He will never experience top grade loud bass, and still, he will be happy throughout his whole life. Leave him alone lol. Yeah i'd do that trade if you want to get louder. When your bass head cravings reach a mature level, come back to us and we will recommend you the good stuff. Hit up a few competitions while you are at it.

Id love competition but it would be over kill for me. I'm really just looking for the bigger woofers wow factor and the lows and depth of 15''s. There's always been something really cool about 15''s to me.

Do I know car audio? I know my car audio and i've had car audio since I was 16 ( 22 years ago ) so I can probably answer a lot of my own questions but this is a forum and there is a lot of knowledge in here so I ask to learn. If you can send the drawing over I would love to see it... I know that an enclosures design tunes sound so the lower the better but with the capability of some punch would be great. I appreciate it bro!

They design boxes to fit and take up as little space as possible. Most JL shoppers think they are amazing.

All BS aside it is a nice sounding box but I'm sure there can be better. I had 2 x 12's L7's but had to down size due to the birth of my son and needed room for a stroller but now that I have a conversion van I have alot of room again so this is why I am considering 15''s . If the 10'' can sound mind blowing amazing though I will keep the 10''

There are some really good box builders and designers on this forum.. Go spend $75-100 on building a new box before you waste money on fosgates
