Im stumped. I need help bad

Well today while driving I took a delievery for work to the customer. When I pulled into the neighborhood and turning down my stereo my system was working fine but after leaving the house and turning my stereo back up I notice my substage and front stage were missing. I quickly pulled into a parking lot and looked at my amps. Nothing looked out of the ordinary and it was all hooked up except my amps where off. I checked all the connections and they were all fine. I then pulled the remote wire and touched it directly to 12v and the amps turned on. I pulled it off the 12v and tryed again. Same thing. Then I hooked the remote back up and the amps turned on but I heard a rattle in my sub so I pulled it. My sub was completly cold and Im pretty doubtful its blown although i havent pulled it yet. Well After I got off work I went home and went to town with the DMM. I noticed I was geting a little over 12v ats my back batt with the car on so I pulled my rear batt and it went back up to around 14v. I then Hooked up my powers and ground and remote making sure everything was secure and nothing. With the DMM I was getting 2.89v at my power. I tested at the front batt to see about 14v After reconnecting my fuseholder I was seeing 14v at the back. After disconecting my power cable the power of the amp was still reading around 12v. The remote turn on reads almost 9v's witch seemed weird so i tryed a direct 12v. I got nothing. I cant get either amp to power on and I have sufficent voltage. Anyone with any Ideas let me know please. No fuses were blown and there was no burnt smell from the amps. Give me anything I can try. Thanks for your help guys!

Grounds are good?

I believe so. It worked fine although the otherday it kept cutting out but I tightened my batt terminals in back and it stopped so I just thought they were lose.
