soo im thinkin about doin a ZX2500.1 in my car with a batt in the trunk and 1/0 everywhere..

the plan was to do 2 12" RE SXs in 4 cubes at 32 hz.. but with the sexy arse IA DRs out now with similar power handling, idk what to do. not many people have the DRs yet so i dont have a lot of people to ask with experience but if anyone does have some, lemme know what your take on them is. thanks

Which is not nearly as good as being stuck between two breasts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'm sure if you check into IA pricing you may wanna stick with the SXs. Unless they are reasonably priced. But I doubt it because I was quoted $459 for a single 12" DP, and there are too many other subs that are cheaper and just as good in that market.

And that's all just my opinion, feel free to go with whatever you want.

He said DR not DP.............DR's could possibly be alot less than that?

yeah i read somewhere that a guy bought them a lot cheaper than the MSRP.. and im probably going to stick with either the DRs or SXs because ive heard a lot of stuff about them and think they are beefy.. =P unless there are some other good sub options with a 1000W RMS that are as beefy as these.

2 jbl gti12 in ported to 2.75 with a 32 hurts frequency!

and ebay has them for like 250 a piece.

worth every penny those subs.

ah. just beefy> thats all you require? and handle 1000 watts? those are some loose criteria.

I understand, I was stating that in my opinion DPs are priced in a way that does not allow them to compete price-wise with other subs in their category, so my comment was that the same may be true in my mind for the DRs.

I would hope to God the DRs are a lot less than that, not just possibly, too.

Let me just throw some numbers out there to show my point.

The MSRP for the DP 12 is $599.

I was quoted $459.

That is 76.6% of the MSRP.

The MSRP for the DR 12 is $429

Therefore, using the percentage from the DP quote, I estimate an approximate price quote on the DR 12 to be $329.

The SX 12 on eBay goes for $235.

I think that sums up my point.
