I'm not stopping there either, I'm debating converting to free air subs and eliminating the box all together. I'm sick of not having trunk space. Amps and processors taking up all the floor space. I'm also not entirely happy about having a 30 mile-per-tank drop in fuel milage after the box went in.

To shave even more space taking items, I removed my Art 300.2 and 600.2 and replaced them with a single Mcintosh 4 channel......... then I hung that too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was actually going to be lazy and just set the amp in the corner, but after I went through so much effort to hang everything else I decided to finish my mission and hang the amp also. If I had not, it would have ended up here.

Did you hang the McIntosh upside down though? Might not be such good idea if it heats up at all. The heatsink won't be very efficient and heat would go up thru the circuit board instead.

Yep.

Most amps wont run upside down very well unless they are fan cooled. Even then i still wouldnt do it

dude i feel you about the gas mileage thing. i am going from 2 12inch mt's in a box witha double baffle 3/4 inch wood and fiberglassed to a 15 inch mt in 1/2 inch wood. gimmie my trunk back too!!!1

I never was able to use the space where the factory hump is anyway.

Instead of prefabbed one's I used plumbing copper tubing since I wanted to cut custom lengths.
