The hifonics and MB Quart amps are also 1 ohm stable, in case you need to wire a setup to 1 ohm in the future. That brutus, only 1 left as well, would probably be my choice.

That Cerwin Vega amp, is it 950w RMS or 800? I see it at different sites listed @ 800w rms.

You only need 500W rms? Not sure which is true, but it should put out some good power at 2 ohms. Not much difference in actual output.

Get a D2 for the HDS 312 and if you are on a budget, looking at cerwin vega, hifonics brutus, mbquart etc... Get a 1600 and you might get 1000 out of them after all box rise/voltage factors are taken in. Wire to 1 ohm. Power at 1 ohm is a lot cheaper than power at 2 ohm. No on the pioneer though. It does not have a proper subsonic filter.
