it will have a build in it im sure, but im mostly concetrating on the motor... I want a 427, but finding one is the difficult part. I had a line on a 454, but the guy didnt really know what all it had done to it, much less anything about it at all.that work's always loved those car's and for fun you can fit 6 cubes straight across the trunk, a bunch of my friends used to run 4 12's (kicker comps and low wattage) and they sounded amazing. best part is slide's out pretty easy
nice choice, same as my show/ date car (bench seats rock!). shoot me a pm and i'll give you my contact info incase you need any help with the car.. im in the process of dropping an LS1 into mine.building up an 88 monte. id rather have 500hp at the wheels, than 150 db on the windshield.
nice! I found a running one, stock 305, needs body work, but its only got 88k miles on it. I want to do an ls1 swap, but they are hard to find. I think for now Im just going to swap out the 305, for a fairly standard 350. bump the compression up to 9:1, run nitrous. boom. easy horsepower lol. IDK yet, im waiting patiently until I find something that I really want.nice choice, same as my show/ date car (bench seats rock!). shoot me a pm and i'll give you my contact info incase you need any help with the car.. im in the process of dropping an LS1 into mine.

if your looking to run boost or nitrous why dont you run the iron equivalent of the ls1. you can get the lq motors for dirt cheap and they handle boost/nitrous much better. and almost all ls parts bolt on. they can be found in almost any newer gm truck. hotrod magazine ran the 4.8 liter on stock bottom end with fast lsxr instake and cheap ebay twin turbo kit and made over 1200 horsepower and they couldnt blow it upnice! makes sense I suppose, weighs a bit more, but it would be easier to play around with a carbed motor over an fi motor. IMO still sort of new to this, thats why I want to start building one though lolif your looking to run boost or nitrous why dont you run the iron equivalent of the ls1. you can get the lq motors for dirt cheap and they handle boost/nitrous much better. and almost all ls parts bolt on. they can be found in almost any newer gm truck. hotrod magazine ran the 4.8 liter on stock bottom end with fast lsxr instake and cheap ebay twin turbo kit and made over 1200 horsepower and they couldnt blow it up
I've thought about building a 12 second fox body, but that would just end up getting me in trouble. I'm enjoying watching the points roll off my license and insurance drop...building up an 88 monte. id rather have 500hp at the wheels, than 150 db on the windshield.
88k miles isnt bad at all considering my stock 305 has over 290,000 miles on it.. a 350 would be the cheapest way to go, just my ls1 swap alone (engine, tranny, ecu, wires) cost me $4200!...best estimate on all other install parts + labor it will be a $8k+ swap when all said and done and that is a stock ls (no cam, no nitrous, no porting). best of luck man and join "gbodyforum.com" when you get it!nice! id love to do a cammed ls1, but I doubt I could find even an ls1 block for cheap lol. so ill just mod the **** out of a nice iron block 350, that way she can take some nitrous and boost, just not tons of it lol. I would be happy with 4-500 at the wheels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif88k miles isnt bad at all considering my stock 305 has over 290,000 miles on it.. a 350 would be the cheapest way to go, just my ls1 swap alone (engine, tranny, ecu, wires) cost me $4200!...best estimate on all other install parts + labor it will be a $8k+ swap when all said and done and that is a stock ls (no cam, no nitrous, no porting). best of luck man and join "gbodyforum.com" when you get it!
