It really is amusing to see so much anger misdirected at the site owner. Ive had my fair share of disagreements with Goob over the years, but calling him the nazi, when its really google, is just silly. If you think he's being greedy for wanting to retain the income from google ads, Id like to know how you are so well versed on the economics of this site.

IMO its pretty hypocritical to claim goob is being greedy, if you yourselves are unwilling to fork out a membership fee to bypass the need for google ads. Expecting a FREE site, that runs like YOU see fit, is a form of greed. Instead of everyone complaining, how about offering a solution, a real solution? Because nobody wants to pay to play, and nobody has any other realistic solution. Its a lot easier to criticize than it is to offer helpful solutions.

You think its greedy to expect a free site in this marketplace? Its not the users fault Goob neglected the site. It's not the users fault he tore down the management structure without replacing it with a competent one. It's not our fault he got hacked... but it's probably his.

But you're right, if people don't like it, they should go somewhere else. And they likely will. Its his own fault for neglecting the booming part of the site, and all he comes back with are petty excuses. I suppose thats welcome transparency though, before it was always some BS line about how the new and improved Goob was going to be on more often (or a dipshit nephew) or news about the changes he was making (we're adding a virus!!!). Goob has taken a lot of things for-granted, and it's biting him in the ass. Tough shit! Welcome to business!.. you're either growing or you're dying.

Um, I never recall saying that I wouldnt pay a membership fee. just sayin. Google complained about things yeah but I think its gotten a little retarded. Also I dick off and say stupid **** and joke around with a lot of people on here but I also do my part in providing intelligent responses and assisting new and old members alike. Goob is all butthurt with his members but its his site, he makes it what it is. You cant hardly have a car audio site without being able to post pictures. everyone is pissed because its stayed a certain way for a long time and now since google is pissy goob takes everything one step too far. MAYBE you should have been cleaning up the goddamned site a year ago and we wouldnt have this whiny bichfest. Goob youre the freaking admin, its not a matter of you being able to reason with the "children" of the site. I never got reasoning between my parents and I. I could either take the right road or get my *** whooped. You take control of the site and do things right but not all at once and dont over do it. And dont complain when everyone gets upset because you turn the site upside down overnight because of revenue issues. Do it right the first time and there wont be a second time. Jesus.
