Yup, wait and see is right. My scammer has missed his court date and now has a arrest warrant issued for him. All over $400.00 he will have a criminal record for the rest of his life. Best thing of all is that I don't have to do a thing at all anymore except show up to court and have this putz tell me when he will pay me as directed by the court. Imagine this, this a$$hat is now 26 years old probably. This has been about 5 years to get to this stage. If this guy wants a job with pretty much anyone from the time of his arrest until the time of his retirement, he has to explain away why he was arrested for scamming. Would you hire a scammer?

you wont get a **** thing man..not trying to be ahole,but i know how these things workout,has much money has you think you got,they got 100 times more,they arnt gona allow you to tarnish there name or make them lose money,i know this isnt what you wana hear,but you'll see.

who is this "they" you speak of im trying to get money out of a kid not a business. And my lawyer says now that ive told him it was out of state he says i should hire one in the state of MD so that i dont have to do anything. I just send him some money and he does all the work. I may have a free lawyer but he isnt gonna travel the country for me......sucks.. so now i have to find a **** lawyer in MD if i convinced 3 lawyers here of sure fire victory i dont think ill have trouble with any other...this way ill get all my money and ecrue no travel expenses....**** this sucks

LOOKS LIKE NO lawyer will represent me, so i gotta go do it all myself,ive been contacting lawyers but it seems not worth thier time to go stand in court for 2 hours for me. Sucks...i better win.

There is another way, atlest the way I did it. Talk to a lawyer about filing a petition in JP court. It can be done in your state/county and the fee is minimal. Fromt heir you go to some type of hearing and more than likely receive a summary judgement against the scammer for the actual amount, damages, interest, and attorney fees. I put about $20K when I did it ($300 box). Once youget your judgement, you then use that to file a lien where they live. key is the lien will be for the $20K, and not the amount you paid. This is not the most detailed explaination, but may give you an idea.

turns out you can sue someone in the state you are in,but in stupid florida it costs 450 bucks just to file the papers...it only costs 35 in his state,so i can either go to maryland and pay 35 bucks and lose travel costs or pay 450 in florida then when he doesn show i wont be able to afford to pursue him. our legal system is piece of crap. i gotta find a way to get this cheaper...this is why internet crime is so out of control...the good guy cant do anything about it

Like the one poster stated earlier file your claim, be it in your state or his file! The claim will no doubtly need to be civil....once you get your judgement (chances are he won't show for court, win by default) not only can you file a lien on personel property that he owns, if he is still working you can garnish his wages as well....don't let this go no matter what the rest of these idiots are saying about just chalk it up.....Bull*hit, make an example out of this punk.......

People....it has to start somewhere with someone.......that's how most of the laws got on the books to begin with.....someone somewhere took a stand against something and they saw it through to the end.....did it cost them more than they were out, probably! just remember what goes around comes around..people who scam will get theres and theres no doubt about that...sucks though most of the time the good guy always gets screwed the worst...but in the end the other person will get it 10 times..even if it doesnt happen when you want it to...i know how your feeling though..i had my "best friend" buy my subs and 5 months..and $400 later i still have nothing but alot of trouble..i figured it was a bad loss to me being 17 and 400 bucks is alot for me with no real bills to pay..but they will get theres sooner or later
