I'm going to be heading to home depot in a little bit and need some help

I know the general supplies for constructing a box, but i want the exact of what i need. I know glue and sealent is needed as well as screws.

The things i don't know...

-what kind and what size screws?

-what wood glue has the strongest bond ever?(is it gorilla glue?)

-what caulk is best at sealing up the inside of the box?(liquid nails caulk?)

I always use the cheap clear silicone, gorilla glue, and some efty screws.....

never had a box come apart or have air leaks yet....most of the time I can't even get the screws out of the box if I want to take it apart, lol

I use 1.25" screws......they work very well.....I use 1" on the subwoofer mounting

I like to use a good high quality wood glue, 1.5" sheetrock screws, and clear window caulk in a sqeezable tube

use 1 5/8" screws, 1 1/4" barely go into the 2nd sheet. also, pick up some wood glue. gorilla glue is NOT the same. Titebond wood glue is excellent. get some 100% pure silicone for sealing it up inside, but if you cut it well enough and use enough glue you shouldnt have to worry about this.

Silicon and must dust won't mix together as well.

This is the stuff I prefer.

Get a nice clean bead along the edge, then gently smooth it with your finger and you will get a nice line down the corner.
