im going sealed.

im keeping my ported box just incase im not satisfied with the switch
i just want to experiment.

any thoughts?
I think its good to switch it up, we aren't all on the quest to the most deeeebeeeeezzzz we can milk out of our subs.

My next setup is planned for sealed too, just to try it out.

my ssds definately slam HARD in my truck. but one motive for the switch to sealed is..my roof is taking one hell of a beating. and now the noises and rattles are becomming louder than the music.

that and you always have frequencies where the box shines and frequencies were its just lacking balls. im hoping going sealed will satisfy my range.

and of coarse, a clearer sound.

thanks for all the support, ill definately report the results

It's good to try something new. Switch it up a bit. Let us know your thoughts when you get it up and running in the sealed enclosure.
I know I made a thread about this a while ago.

Anyways, thanks for your help with the box stuff. I got it finished over a week ago. Big improvement! Louder clearer lower.

ssd's sound great sealed fyi
i know. i hope they live up to the hype. when i bought these i went from MTs to SSDs (on the same power)

the sq increase alone was incredible(duh)..and im hoping for the same results when i switched to sealed.

im over shaking houses. and itll be nice to have half my backseat again.
