my friend hunts and he has been sharing a lot of his deer meet with me. We've been making deer burgers for a couple weeks now and they taste sooooooooooo much better than normal burgers. It's like a night and day difference taste wise.

Yeah, you usually need to mix it with pork in order to make is constant. It's too lean to make into patties or sausages usually.

From what this guy told me, deer has nearly no fat and they add it so the hamburgers/sausages will stick together. I am not sure how correct he is though.

He is quite correct.

How would one go about getting deer meat? I don't like hunting because I find the "sport" unfair, but I have no problem eating the deer meat. Can I go to a processor and ask for scraps?

I agree it is Fire, especially the Deer Jerky, my kinfolks all hunt like its goin outta style and they share all the Bambi jerky
