Deerhunt?Venison backstraps from a fawn. I have never had meat that was more tender than this is. Absolutely delicious.
From what this guy told me, deer has nearly no fat and they add it so the hamburgers/sausages will stick together. I am not sure how correct he is though.i only had it once, didnt really care for it, it had a good flavor, but to much fat/grissel...it was in sausage.....

I still prefer filet to deer steak, but its not bad
