Im confused?

I hooked up my amp and everything and now i am hearing the wind through my subs? Weird i know. But every now and then i will also hear a pop through the sub. I checked my ground with dmm everything was fine. what else. Should i upgrade my wire currently i have four gauge.

If you pull the RCA's out of the amp does the sound go away? If it does, the problem is with your HU. If it doesn't, the problem is with your amp.
