I'm bidding my savings on this

To which I responded:

I used the direct search feature on MTX's site (having been motivated to visit said site by your prompting) and strangely I cannot find the first bit of information about a Joe Tanner or an alleged 231dB metered run? Using Google's search engine with the search parameters of Joe Tanner + 231dB returns exactly zero results as well.

The ball is still in your court, dear seller, as you have to this point provided exactly zero evidence to substantiate any of the claims made within your item description.

I await your next response with baited breath.

lol

Or until I am proven inarguably wrong. Should that happen I will be more than happy to admit I made a mistake. Barring that happening, however, then yeah ~ I'm gonna stay on his case.

And my reply to his most recent lunacy:

If you genuinely believe that the most recent purchases made by me on eBay is in anyway indicative of my level of knowledge then you truly are as foolish as I originally suspected.

The Kenwood monoblock was purchased for parts. The Kenwood 4ch was bought as an investment and very soon after taking receipt of said unit it was immediately resold for more than twice what I paid for it. The Orion unit is somewhat of a piece of car audio history, if you will, much like its HCCA-series brethren from the days when Orion was still made in USA prior to becoming part of the DEI conglomerate.

You have yet to provide any degree of proof for your claims and now you have resorted to personal attacks that make you appear even more foolish that you already did. I do not have to know what your actual knowledge level is to know that the Thunder 1000 is MTX's bottom-end driver. No amount of amplification or incredibly fancy enclosure design is going to get you a 193 on ANY mic ~ even the AC which as anyone into car audio to any real degree knows measures a few dB higher than the TermLab sensor.

I am still waiting on PROOF for your claim of hitting a 193 or any real information about this Joe Tanner character and his alleged 230dB+ run. How about let's start there with some substantiation of your claims rather than empty rhetoric, hmm???

I'm not totally sure about the larger engines on the bigger jets... but the 40 seaters they fly in and out of Albany, GA have engines strapped to them that, at idle sit around 128ish, and supposedly wide open will open up to 150ish. (supposedly, because I don't care to verify, and havent been around one wide open.) I used to be a ramp rat. ha.
