Yo guys, its been a while since ive been on here but i just got a new truck and im ready to load it up, I just got a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel, and im going to put one ten in there with lots of output. I just started to learn about the FI BTL 10" and that thing seems like it would sounds **** good and pound, what do you guys think, i had a 15" RE SX and that thing was rediculously loud, so what do you guys think of a 10" SX compared to the FI. I know that there is a big price difference but thats ok, Ill probably have an Orion 1200 or the new Alpine PDX or PDI im not sure which one but i know that its 1100.1 so that would be ok. and i could just put a new fuse in it and push it to 2000.1 that would be sick, but anyways what do u guys think with the sub options, remember its in an ext. cab pickup so there wont be a ton of room.

Good to be back and thanks in advance... Mike.

The part above that I have boldfaced.....is this to mean that you believe by simply changing the fuse rating that it will increase the amp's output?

Say it ain't so...

Actually he is correct on some amps.

They were rated at xxx power with this amp fuse and at xxxx power but you had to change the fuse.

What I am trying to say is changing the fuse doesnt increase out put but allows it to put out power to its full rating.

I saw some on ROE's amp guts page.

You're the kind of guy that makes this forum fun. You get all pissy over the smallest stuff. On a forum with thousands of members, what makes you think we'll miss one? Hell, Flakko is a cool *** dude who's been around a while, but he hasn't been on in a while, but I don't miss him either.

Chill out mang.

Ok all im doing asking for honest opinions and i get this, why wouldnt u get frusterated? I was just saying that i had been gone for a while, it was just a convo starter, i dont care if u guys missed me or not, i was just tying to get some insite...

Well, here's my opinion on the sub situation...

If you've been lookin at the Fi BTL's, you've got to remember that they're SPL woofers. I know that people use them for daily driving, but I think that on a day to day basis, you'd be better off with BL's because they're not straight up SPL woofers and are better suited for daily driving. A pair of those on 2,000w would be pretty sick.

thanks for being a dick, people like u make people never want to post on this site. FYI
