Hey all, I am a noob to this whole wiring part of car audio. I had some guy I know wire up my subs, and he wired them at 4 ohms. I want to wire it up at 2 ohms, but I have no idea how to go about doing that. Does anyone have any idea how to do this, or know any sites that explain this stuff, so that I can do it myself? thanx.

I can walk you through it. But you need to know the voice coil configuration on your subs first. Let me know what subs you are running and I will tell you your wiring options.

It is a 12'' MA Audio MA121XQ(I know nothing special), with dual voice coils

EDIT: I just looked it up, and the coils are 4 ohm coils. So does that mean there will be no 2 ohm for me?

Just looked it up..................................nope.

EDIT: Either way, I was thinkin about getting some type R's anyway, so Could I get a diagram or something for the 2 ohm hookup?
