They got some on sale for pretty cheap on the DIYMA site. I am looking for some 8s to compare with the hertz/rainbow slim 8 midbass offerings.

NM those are the ones I picked up. If the wholesale sheet I saw on-in is accurate these were on sale for less than 1/4 of wholesale cost.

Mounting around 2"

Rainbows are 2.3"

Hertz is slightly less.

I am all about super shallow 8" midbass.

I wish I could have found the 8's, they would have blended perfectly with my cal25's based on specs, but who knows specs are specs.

If you want to join "Team 8" Midbass" I will be selling the 'loser' of the hertz vs. rainbow comp.

Although, I doubt the 'loser' will be a slouch by any means.
