Illumination and Dimmer wires

Do these two wires need to be used? My radio used up all the wires but these two. However, I have one wire left and that's the Panel Light wire. Do I connect that wire to the illumination or the dimmer wire?

i haven't connected an illum or dimmer wire in a while it's only really needed if you want the deck to dim with your dash lights

haha made a mistake, i accidently touched the dimmer and illum wires together with the panel light wire. this caused the dash lights and stereo lights not to turn on anymore after i turn the head lights on.....

anyway to fix this?

yeah, change teh fuse

uhh which fuse? only fuses are on the ignition switch wire and the 12v battery memory wire on the HU...

Refer to your car's owners manual there should be fuses tucked up above the drivers foot well.

ok, another question, is it the Interior Light, Courtesy Lights fuse?

These are blown fuses but the one on the right looks closest to what a good fuse looks like.

got it, the small light circuit had a blown fuse. will go to autozone to fix, thanks guys. i learn something new everyday at this forum.

x2 that's just asking to mess some thing up there is very few things that you should do on a car with out unhooking at least one of the battery cables
