i think most of it they just make up...every cop ive asked about a sound law...ive gotten a different response from every single one of them...one tells me its by a certain distance ...another tells me by dbs but they cant test that while just sittin there unless they install a meter in the cop car...or they just pull u over cuz they dont like the type of music u play and that is bull

i live in peoria illinois and i just got off the phone with the rockford police department. i asked them about the hearsay from the populas being admissible in court, and she said that was false. its going to be cops, stationed at certain areas, that will be listening for loud music, yet motorcycles are still ok =)
