i came across ikesound and i saw an offer i coudlnt refuse...Kicker l7 04 refurbished on sale for 155 each..I have an Infiniti I30, so the set up will go into the trunk. I also have a stock electrical system. i have about 31 inch width, 15 inch height, and 25 inch depth maximum i can work with. i may be able to squeeze in more. So that gives me a total of around 5.5 cubic feet to work with not including port displacement. I was thinking is that enuff for 2 L7s porterd, or should i go sealed. I also saw Kenwood 1000w amp on sale for 135 each..i would be able to get 2 of these hooked up.Or i could get Orion 1200 for 260 or a hifonix 1500 for the same price. That puts me around 600 dollars. I was just wondering how loud this set up would be compared to my old set up of 2 w3v2's wit a 1200 watt viper amp.

Would my stock electrical system take it. OR shoud i go with 1 l7, and a hifonix 15000 watt amp and be better off? My main goal is to get real loud, with some sq. I have the L7's but am Running them off of a Kicker KX1200.1 but that Orion will rock your world. Not familiar with Kenwood, but haven't heard great things about there amp. But I could be wrong. Still Junior member on here but have been into car audio for six years.

but you say two Kicker L7 12's 4 ohm, KX12001 wired to a 2 ohm...you mean 1 ohm, or do you have two DVC 2's?

i have a question i have a 12 inch circle sub hole in my box could i cut it out to fit a square l7 or would that not work?

so what amp is best suited for 2 12 inch l7s 2 ohm i think.. Im trying to stay under 300 and want to get it off ike sound.. they got hifonixx, viper, orion, and some other amps. ikesound.com
