any of you guys here have good experiences with purchasing Orion 2500D refurbs on ikesound, was thinking about getting one, but after reading this and numerous other bad posts about them, I am kind of skeptical, IDK though cause for the price it is almost worth the risk...

I recieved a refurb/abused bx1500d advertised as new. Blew within a week. Right after that week all of the hurricane business happened so I thought i was screwed getting refunded. Called multiple times with no answer. I emailed Dustin a few days after they opened back up again, and the next day I had a response. He gave me an RMA number for a refund. 2 days after my package arriving, I had a refund in paypal. They refunded the price of the amp minus the shipping price, which is fine with me. I'd rather get $180some back then nothing at all.

sounds like their good people, but just need to keep updates on their site and products.

ordering an high demand/rare item from them could be a hassle.

i just ordered a directed audio 1500d from them 2 fridays ago, but it took until wednsday for my paypal to clear. so i e-mailed them to let them know and they said theyll be shipping my amp out this monday nov.28th which is tomorrow. im hoping they keep thier word. ill probably e-mail and see if they did. once i find something else out i willrepost, since this is the first time ive delt w/ ikesound.
