If I had a shop I'm in to make money. So #1 Kicker (I hate it, but probally #1 seller), than Pioneer, Eclipse, Diamond, and Memphis.

I would sell Kicker, Pioneer, Alpine, RE, USamps, Soundsplinter, Rainbow, DIY stuff, Treo, maybe ARC and i dunno what else

Not to start an argument, but from a money stand point would you really carry underground names, even names as such RE and Treo. The average person wants a brand they know and feel they can trust. And majority of people have not heard of them.

Its too subjective to each territory and clientele. I currently carry Rainbow,Arc,DLS,Morel,Dyn,Diamond,Nakamichi,etc...

But I also do Eclipse,Premier,Kicker,etc..

Each area will differ and the products lines will vary along with it. I support lines that support me in return, not just the product, but the service. I refuse to carry a line that doesnt have good CS.

i dont know what the technical term is but you would want a good rep before opening a shop. that rep would go a long way and so would the underground brands imo.

something like a background maybe?... yeah background's the word

good reps are VERY hard to come by nowadays. Especially on a line that sells consistantly. They can sit back and make theyre money whether they actually make contact with you or not.

Not to mention you actually need a shop prior to dealing with a rep. And the rep isnt your choice its whoever is assigned to the area your in. Unless you plan on moving a 100+ miles to try a different one, your choices are limited.

which of course why i have kicker, pioneer, alpine, etc...i can compare soudplinter with Eclipse so that might be a little easier than the other underground things. also treo isnt all that underground

x2. dont expect to open a shop and start selling brax. etc. you will end up with some low end brand they also rep.

Definately. You have to take baby steps regardless of territory or clients. If you start out "high end" youll have a ton of debt and low sales.
