Shit, I purchased a pair of coaxials that arrived packaged like that, and I found it unacceptable.

Yeah, he seemed like a standup guy when I talked to him, but I take no chances after getting scammed. I don't think it was his fault (minus the shoddy packaging) because the other speaker came in pristine condition.

It's as simple as this: The shipper is mildly retarded and should never be allowed near a speaker, a tape gun or cardboard boxes. For extra measure, he should never be allowed within 20' of newspaper either. That is no way to pack a Hummel, much less a pair of subwoofers.
