if i get an h/o alt do i need another battery. or even 2?

A group 34 will fit under the hood with only minor mods. You will need a tie down kit and depending on the one you get you may need to cut the bolts so the hood will close without hitting.

 
factory battery under hood on that car is ****. you should upgrade it.. best bang for the buck is go to sears and get you a diehard gold for under hood and a diehard platinum agm for trunk.. cant go wrong and warranty is the shiznit if you ever have to use it.

 
dont be cheap.. man up or go home dude.. electrical is the blood flow of your set up, bad electrical = fried amps, and ****** sound

you can get both thoughs diehards for the price of 1 XS maby even less.. about $90 for hood bat and $200 for rear bat

i have 4 diehard platinums in one of my demo cars.. i Fing love them.

If it's your money, tell him to fuck off. He doesn't own you, and has no say in what you spend your earned money on. In all seriousness, you should go with DieHard. I'd say just get a Platinum up front, and nothing in the back. Until you need more powah, of course.

 
You're going to end up spending more money trying to go cheap with all this. I saw you wanting to upgrade amps already but you still haven't fixed your electrical. You need to unplug/bypass the eld, upgrade the battery under the hood to a group 34 (I got a duralast platinum which is a rebadged deka), and get a H/O alt. There's NO alternatives, no cheap route. You probably didn't get all you could out of that apsm.
