Good post, but most guys on here probably don't care as they just want loud.
I've never noticed any diff with reversing phase on the tweets, but pass side mids reversed has more midbass for sure.

You don't need to go active to achieve that...

Or use an EQ.

EQ is actually the last thing I do when it comes to tuning
