If 2 subs share enclosure does recommended airspace double?

I was wondering, if you place two subs in one enclosure. Does the recommended air volume for the enclosure double or can two subs share the recommended airspace for one sub??

No.. If a recommended volume is 1 cu.ft. on a sub, you would use 2 cu. ft. for two and so on.
