First off i wanna say hi! sorry my first thread or post has to be a question but im a broko mofo and came across a steal so i need to ask the experts if i can buy this thing or not.

basically i have an idmaxd2v3, and i want to run another one, but cant find one for a decent price. well a friend of mine has a idmaxd2v2. can i run the two different versions in a car or will they cancel each other out, or blow up the amp or something?

they are pretty much the same sub just different cone material diff magnet and a few other small changes. i would say that it would be safe to run the 2. i know i would if that was what i had.

ya thats kinda what i thought too but i called the guys at id and they didnt know and kinda freaked out that then didnt have the info on it. their reaction got me kinda worried

thank you for the info, but the only problem is i need the info on the response time for the voice coils. if the v3 responds faster then the v2 it will cancel out. because of the lack if info i think im just gonna stick with my v3. and just build a better box for it. hopefully in the future i can get some more cash for a new or used v3. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
