IDMax or Mag...Camaro owners come on in too

Just picked up a 98 Z28 that is in need of some love, audio wise. I'm pretty well set on one of these two subs, but if you have a suggestion that you wanna make, go ahead, but make **** sure you can reason why you'd choose it over these two. Power will be ~800w from a Pioneer Premier PRS-X720, and will most likely be in a sealed alignment.

Also, i'd prefer advice from someone with knowledge of both subs, not Joe Blow commenting on which looks better or will work better based on specs when he's never heard either one. Sorry for the newbish question, but i honestly feel its not like all the other threads made in the X vs. Y manner.

the idmax is very effecient and would work well with that power and do well in sealed boxes. sq is very nice on them, and they do well ported. not the loudest sub i have ever heard, but a nice all around sub. the mag is also a decent sub. could work well sealed as well as ported. output is decent, better then the idmax. in terms of sq both are comparable, but i haven't ran my mag in a sealed enclosure.

so you are saying 2 10's sealed off 400 watts a piece? imo i'd stick with just a single 12.
