I'm building a box for an IDMAX 12" running 1000 watts rms. The dimensions will be something like 15x13x13 which will give me just over a cubic foot after displacement.

I'm not familiar with this sub so I was Just wondering if I would need any kind of bracing to prevent flex. To me it doesnt seem like the box would flex and I would really rather not add more wood which would take away from my already limited volume.

If bracing is reccommended, how do I go about doing this? What are some common bracing techniques?

Box will be 3/4" MDF.

With panels that short, you should need any bracing but if you want you can put in some corner braces which are just 45* cuts on the wood and placed in the corners or a brace that runs from one of the 15" sides to the other 15" side.

Yeh thats pretty much what i figured. I think maybe I'll just run a brace from one side to the other on the longest panels. Thanks.
