I've had a 12" FI q in a custom built sealed enclosure to spec for about five years now. I'm running a JBL bp 1200.1 mono block to it, and I'm just wondering if I should upgrade.

I want to keep the same size box, but I want it to perform better. Maybe it's just worn out???

On a side note,,, I've always dreamed of having a Cerwin Vega Stroker

The series that pushed 162db or something crazy years back.

Btw, it's in a 2011 tundra double cab. Basically sitting diagonal under the back passenger seat. Sounds best that way.

Sorry. I honestly don't know what you mean. I would pay to have someone build me a box custom under my back seats. But I don't know how much more cubic inches it would be from the current one I have.

Cabin gain is basically the frequency that plays loudest in a vehicle. It's not actually a frequency but the phenomenon that causes a gain in output. Each vehicle has a different frequency. Cabin gain is based on wavelengths. Smaller vehicle more gain. There is so many variables that you should just do some research. This forum provides a lot of info on it.
