Idea for ghetto components set.

i just came across a pair of infinity RS-3's. They are bookshelf speakers with 6.5" woofers and 1" silk dome tweeters in ported enclosures. Final load when connected to the crossovers 4.5 ohms each. how do you guys think they would sound in the doors of my pickup? i would power them with a bridged mtx rt-a260 (150 x 1 @ 4ohms) per door. FYI , i mean out of the box and mounted in my factory woofer and tweeter holes.

van was starting to run kinda rough. and a friend of a friend mentioned needing a minivan and wanting to trade a truck for it. i told him about the problems and he still wanted it. the only thing wrong with the truck is the a/c and the driver seat has been replaced with a bucket seat out of an accord. LOL. so i gotta get a set of nice seats and fix the ac. then get some boom in it.

in the back seat. i only have a single 12 under the rear seat. plenty of room for my kids till i can get a little 4 door for the woman.

if their paper cone, winter time might be a bit rough on them or if water gets in your doors. suprised the load isnt 8ohm, most home speakers are anyway, other than that they can sound as good as any other speaker out there.

they are poly cones with rubber surrounds.

I've heard them in boxes and they sounded good for what they are, I'm sure they'd sound fine in your vehicle.
