ID vs Kicker vs Alpine vs Boston Acoustics

I am looking at moving down from 2 10's to a single more efficient 10. Not sure on box, but I am going after SQ so it will probably be sealed. Right now I am planning on using my Rockford Fosgate 360a2 amp (2 channel, 400 watts rms @ 4 ohms bridged), but I may upgrade to an Alpine amp either a 400 or 500 watt if it would help. I am looking at the ID10v3, Kicker CVR, Alpine Type R, and Boston Acoustics G2. Which of these would be the best for SQ? I am not worried about loudness, which is why I am not keeping my dual 10's. Most of my music is rock/alternative/county/old school rap. Which sub would you suggest, and also would the amp upgrade be recommended? Thanks for all of your help thus far.

Mach 5 audio have pretty good SQ. and its 350 rms and only comes in dual 4.

The ID is a SQ sub and has proven to be so for many years. the latest version just gets better.

A used DIYMA 12" shoudl only run $100

I was actually leaning towards the type r, but yet no mention of it. I have been told it is awesome. How would it compare to the regular ID in a sealed enclosure? Thanks.

Can't compare them really. Unless you are talking about the IDMax. Even then, the ID would shit all over the type R. If you are on a budget, then the R's will suffice, they get loud and sound decent. Probably want a nice ported box so they shine.

I personally would go Q ID, but you already mentioned you couldn't afford it. What about a Kicker CVX? I have 1 12 and love it to death and have owned ID, Typr ARRRRRRRGHS and other mainstream, internet based brands and put this up there as one of my favs.
