This is kind of a thread dump.... but, Hessdawg must be making bank off those OEM's. He's been selling them for months now and it seems like everyone and their mother has bought a pair. I wonder how much he's made off selling them. I'm liking mine as well. I have them high passed at 80hz and low passed at 1.25khz (don't remember the slopes). They make the chrome side moldings on the exterior of the door rattle pretty badly. (I have the inner and outer door skin deadened)

Hope this isn't considered a post dump or thread crapping but is this really a good deal when you consider you have to buy a crossover and tweeters (if going for a component set)?

I would really be interested in these but am not sure what a good tweeter and crossover adds to the cost.

What tweeter/crossover do you guys pair these with?

lots of people arent concerned about them being a good deal. if they were theyd buy a set of cheapo $60 coaxials instead of going active with these.
