someone told me to go sealed because i'm haveing so much power going t them that if i go ported it wil blow them.

ib will get alot smoother but definately wont get as loud. all depends on what you value great sound or great volume.

It would definately be a better idea to run it in a sealed box, but you will still be overpowering it quite a bit. You should really consider getting a second idmax. If you continue to run only one of them, ide suggest that you watch the gains.

sealed handles more power than ported and ported handles more power than ib. if you are worried about smoking it what so ever run sealed. need more output buy a second one want it louder yet port 2. all depends on how volume crazy you might be. someone like me would run it ib with that amp but realize im what people would call an uncool tweek lol
