ID, IDQ, or others?

I found a few for 30ish plus shipping that were .75. I really like those ground shaker boxes linked to above, and they are just over 1 cubic foot. Would it benefit me to stuff my box with something like polyfill? Thanks a lot.

I really like the ground shaker box, but it is 20-30 more than all others. Do you think it is better quality? I am about set on the IDQ 12 with the Dual 2 ohm VCs. It will be .2 cf to big, but that shouldnt hurt, it sound isnt there I can try changing the internal volume. Nice to know a custom enclosure isnt necessary. Thanks everyone.

As said, the 2 10's were too much bass for me. I keep them turned on about the lowest level. I have the option to get a IDQ 12 (v2) or a IDQ 10 (v3) for about the same price. Which would be better for SQ? Thanks.

edit: my 15"v2 was not quiet as natural sounding and defined as my 10"v3.

I just think that the new ones sound better than the old ones. It is hard to explain how i think its better because the v2 is good, just if they were the same price i would buy the v3 because you can recone it and the build quality is better. I feel much safer sending this 10"v3 500rms than i did with the 15"v2. Both sealed up.

I have thought about getting the IDQ 10v2 (250 watts RMS), hooking up at an 8 ohm load to prevent overpowering, and get a custom box. This would fit my budget much better, but for only $40 I can step up to a 12, and 40 more will get me to IDQ10v3. Need your opinions, will a newbie notice the difference in SQ between these? Thanks.

no you most likely will not notice a difference because you wont have anything to compare it too besides your 12s you had. All the choices will have better SQ than those 12s.
