ID CTX65cs worth keeping?

Hey everyone, just getting back into car audio after quite a few years away. I have an old pair of Image Dynamics CTX65cs comps that were sitting in my old car for a few years outdoors in the FL heat. I finally got them out and they are not looking too good. Unsure of my best move here.

- Repair them myself or have an audio shop do it before installing?

- Sell them (if possible) and get a new pair? I believe I can get the same pair new from sonic for $140.

- Sell them and get a totally different speaker? I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander, also not sure if the 2.75" depth will be an issue.

I doubt you could get them repaired for less than their current value

Is the tweeter beat up too? I might be interested in tweeters if the mids arent salvageable

e6000 on the tear in the surround and thats all you need to do. That rubber boot is not needed at all, you can just toss that sh*t. The damages arent anything serious at all.

They are working great, if I do end up piecing this apart I will let you know. Looks like I might not have to.

Yea there rough but nothing bad. My ID mids did the same thing. Wierd.
