I dont hate the finish. I was concerned with how it may have turned out, but i like it a lot.

Yea, mine was exactly 11/16. That kind of pissed me off because it threw off one side by 1/8".

The triple baffle looks kind of funny and I don't really care for the green but the build looks nice! Maybe the green will be better when seen with the vehicle.

I just finished my second stained BB box and I can tell you that they look MUCH better in person as pics don't do them justice.

Obviously not for everybody, but I like the stained look. And I was contemplating doing a colored stain, but there was like 10 people in the paint mixing line at HD, so I went with a light Pine color.

I also think the screws countersunk but showing adds to the "look" of a stained box. Rustic, man made, whatever you want to call it. I'm also into antique furniture/woodwork, so it's a look I like.

Green box looks PIMP. Nice job!!!

I personally find it funny how so many hate on the grain of the wood and especially the end grain as that's what makes it unique. Same guys all run ugly *** POS gray carpet boxes. Talk about FUGLY!!!!

Stained deep blue, with minimal silver flakes.

Be sure to post pics of that! If I like it, maybe you could build a little equiptment stand for me? Blue/silver/black is my favorite color combination.I can build, I just can't finish worth shit.

Thanks mlstrass, I definately agree. in a couple pics, it looks neon green, but it isnt at all, it looks more like a candy green.
