i own a 12" Li from IA and am looking at getting their death row. what do you guys think about the 12" DR? are there other subs on its price and quality level out there i would be better with. its going into a 3^ft3 box tuned to 34Hz. and my amp runs at 1500watts at 1 ohm. looking to get a brand new sub, not really looking for a used sub unless you can give me one heck of a deal on it.

well do subs normally sound bad when you play them without full volume on your HU? That's "underpowered". RMS just tells you what kind of power the coil can handle without frying over long periods of time. They dont' need a given amount of power though.

3ft^3 at 34hz is going to be pretty peaky. What exactly are you looking for, just something that'll get loud and sound decent while doing it?

^yeah, looking for good quality that puts out some loud bass. leaning more for SP than SQ
