What do you want to use it for?

Although both do well in either competition or daily street-beating applications, each amp was designed for different scenes... The RF is designed to put out gobs of power @ 1 ohm all day, and the IA is designed to put out retarded amounts of power @ a dead short for short periods of time.

People have used both amps for both applications and have done well. This comparison is still apples to oranges. Either way, you will need a good alternator and a few batteries to make the most out of either.

see what i am wanting to do is ....... the rf t40001bd or ia 40.1 ,, 2 yellow top d51....another yellow top up front.........2 12 re audio xxx.....the new ones......custom box...250 amp alternator..... this is gunna be for daily use ......music...

get the 40.1. i am running one daily in my caddy at .7 ohms. monster power. will run flawless at that imp. so long as you have the electrical to support it. they will burp at .25 ohms. that is what i run them at in my crx.
