Dear Zach,
As a note normal backorders are 2-4 weeks to receive and we do recognize you have not had many orders with us to be able to confirm this for yourself. Please keep in mind the backorder dates are an estimated date we expect to receive the parts and they can get extended. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Best regards, Amy

That's close enough to what I need. I was already planning on purchasing something else from you guys (a yellow top), so essentially, having to spend extra money on parts was taking away from the money that I would be putting back into your company by buying more of your products... which is why I asked for compensation.
I must admit that, in the future, I'll be very wary of anything that you guys have on backorder, but I do admire the fact that you were willing to work with me on this matter. That says a lot about your company, and I will be keeping my business with you.
One final thought on this matter... perhaps you're wondering why in the world I kept waiting for rotors when I knew that they needed replaced? Every time the rotor back order date was pushed back, I called up and asked when they were expecting them to be in. This is a paraphrase of what I was told, "Well, the rotors should be in any day now; we just put the back order date on there for when we know they will be in by." So, every time I was led to believe that the back order date was the latest date that they rotors might come in, and that they'd probably be in sooner.
I'm not asking you to change any of your policies, but as you can see, it has the potential to mislead the customer as to the actual situation of their order.
Thank you once again for working with me,
-Zach Godsil

Dear Zach,
We have referenced your request with our team leader here and he is willing to offer 10% off on the rotors only. Please understand this is a final consideration on this order and we will wait for your reply. Best regards, Amy

The only rotors you have in stock for my car are $40 more expensive a piece, are only for one end, and are not slotted. They are only drilled. All of your other rotors have backorder dates just as long as the ones I ordered, or longer. Not to mention, they are all more expensive.
Keep in mind, when I ordered these, they said they would be back ordered for 4 days. It's been a month and a half now, and half of my other rotor was ground away COMPLETELY. Did you even look at the pictures? I was practically endangering myself waiting for you, and you can't even cover *most* (not all) of the parts that I had to buy just to be safe on the road... and to get my car to work at all?
Had I known you would keep pushing the backorder date back by 2 weeks every time, there's no way I would have ordered from you. However, I've already invested my time in this order, and now invested money in a patch up job waiting for this order, so I might as well wait it out.
I'm not trying to get something for free out of you. I have all the receipts and pictures to prove everything I'm saying. It is **costing me money** to even **try** to make a purchase from you.

Dear Zach,
We do apologize for the extended delay on these backordered rotors but we can not agree to another $25.00 for the delay. We can check for alternate rotors that might be in stock for you to receive faster delivery. Please let us know if you wish to check for replacement otherwise we will ship just as soon as these receive. Thank you for your inquiry. Best regards, Amy
