Ask anyone who owns a corvette and they're not getting 28mpg. Lots of auto companys bullshit those specs all the time. they're probably getting more likelu high teens MAYBE low 20's with careful driving.
And the fact remains you're not getting 700WHP ANNDD 30mpg. Your situation is still either or, so you prooved nothing.

When you add air with a turbo, you lean it out; after so much you HAVE to compensate with more fuel. Its just the fact of the matter.

So when anyone adds horsepower with a turbo they'll loose mpg because of the larger injectors squirting in more fuel. The chevy engine was designed to run how it does, even though its greatly exagereated; its still apples and oranges.

You stupid fuk, how technical do you really want to get? Okay so the 28mpg isn't exact, it's more like 24-25mpg, and I know that for a fact! How to I know this? My parents have a 2005 Chevy SSR, same motor as the Corevette. I have take it on long trips and it gets around 25, I would guess the Corvette is a little lighter than the SSR, so probably a tad better gas mileage. I was just using that as an example.

I have already explained about the larger injectors or multiple injector setup, it can easily be done you retard. When you cruising on the freeway or lite on the throttle, YOU WON'T BE BOOSTING, so no extra air or fuel will be added (aparently nobody fuking understands that), especially in the 8 injector setup, you are wrong, end of story.

 
i was just thinking that. and saw his time and though no way without slicks. Even then i bet he bsed the time and is still running high 14's with that turbo.

My best time on street tires was 13.4 @ 105mph, you dumb fuk lol... That was about 9-10psi, and only had 5 passes. With a little more boost (12-14psi) and seat time, that would be an easy 12.9... Every run I have made at the track has been between 12.6 and 14.0... I have never ran slower. I only have maybe 15-20 passes in? So it looks like your wrong about that one buddy.

If you want to call BS how about you go over to honda-tech and start talking shit about the stock d-series motors that have put down over 300whp and ran 12.0 lol... My car is nothing compared to those guys.

And you're a moron for thinking the engine is the only thing that decides mpg. Its a big part, but thats not the only thing to consider.

That and the ls2 is rated for 18mpg around the city, which i'm sure is pushing it still. probably lower to 16.

So no, its not beeen done yet. 18 isn't even close to 30mpg w 400hp.

You'll be the first one! you should deffinetly patent whatever you've done to your shit box.

You really like leaving out little facts, such as the highway mpg and the fact you use slicks.

D-series will always be one of the shittest engines honda made.
