my bad jntar LOL, i just like poken at the all mighty one when i get a chance LOL, i will stay on topic no prob. on that note, something does need to be done, I may not have been here as long as some of you but I have seen alot of attacks on members for pidly things, and goob does need to rethink the way this site is ran IMO, he needs to focus on the love of car audio not the love of money.

I agree about the double standard thing.

If the rules of TOS are to be enforced they count for EVERYONE no one should get favored. Break the TOS you get banned for a couple days (or permanent depending on what it is)

Also I think the mods should HAVE to post helpful car audio posts. Most do..... SOME don't. This is a car audio board if you seem to have little to no interest in helping/talking about car audio then you shouldn't be a mod.

You want a solution that will probably fix the majority of the problems? Bring an end to post whoring and the bickering for the most part. When this site first started, there was no "Lounge" IIRC. The lounge is where most of the problems take place. You get rid of the lounge and you force the members that still want to stay here to participate and help out in other threads. Guessing who I am is irrelevant. Either you want to help make the place better or you are part of the problem. This site started going down hill when the admin created the Flame Forum. There used to be some good discussions on this board. Zane vs Arcane Paradise was a classic. I haven't seen a classic in a very long time. The only things you run across now are members stirring up shit, scammer threads, and fighting. Generally everyone that posts in a thread of those sorts with the exception of scammer threads are only adding to the problem.

My suggestion: Lose the Lounge.

Just because some members no longer post on this site, does not mean really anything. Other than the obvious, they no longer post...
I highly doubt this Mod's actions are leading to a "downfall" of a website. Most drama, internet fighting, breaking of TOS is done by the members. Other than the way the Mod wishes to handle the situation, they normally are not in the wrong.

I would be more inclined to point my finger @ the members breaking the rules, and causing constant problems. It's simple logic if they did not do so in the first place, the mod would not have to deal with them.

I say the problem is with the problem starter. Not the backlash caused by the problem. Lets face it, people can not deal with the internet and take things way to seriously.
