not me. the forum is what it is. if you don't like there are other forums. if deleting a perfectly fine thread just for the sake of lowering a members post count, is ridiculous. honestly you people take me too serious. also the mod didn't do the proper procedure in banning members. from what i've gathered, you need to get approval in the backroom and make a banning. this mod didn't do that.

I think the problem is the attitude . What ever happened to people actually being helpful ? Why all the hate for new guys asking questions ? If the question has been asked a million times, then a million people should no the answer. No need to bash people for asking questions. I myself tried an expirament last week as some of you know. Never once came close to breaking anything remotely close to the tos. Just asked questions, that were asked by other members upon arriving at this forum. And with the exception of a few. I agree with that. Everyone wants a search done. I personally don't mind answering the same question a billion times, but that's kind of a pet peeve for a lot of people. There is a member (or small group of members) that have taken great issue with a certain moderator. (I am making no judgements or commentary on the validity of said complaints...simply asserting that they exist)

To that end there have been innumerable posts and threads made about this very subject trying to catch Goob's attention to a sufficient point that he (Goob) might pay attention to that which these members feel needs to be addressed.

Okay, guys....you've accomplished that. Goob was the one that locked down the "Goddy need to resign Yes Or No? Thread/Poll" in case you missed it. Goob is aware of the feelings of more than a few members as directed towards a certain someone, folks.

Apparently ~ Goob disagrees. Members have raised a fuss. More than a couple of members of both the current and past moderation teams have expressed concerns. Time and time again, regardless of whether the method is rude or respectful, the very same thing has been covered ad nauseum.

Bearing that in mind...and remembering the fact that the Admin already has to be aware of this...how many more threads about this will get created just to eventuate into a complete b***h-fest? (as I have no doubt in my mind that is exactly what this will turn into sooner or later)

Goob is aware of these concerns. They have been brought to his attention more than a couple of times at this point. Nothing changes which can only be assumed that he is content with the status quo regardless of how many and how loudly complaints are lodged.

I respect your efforts and applaud your tenacity for continuing to try.

At the end of the day I think you're doing little more than spinning your wheels and stirring up more drama that will have no positive conclusion.

The big deal is that most of the voted mods could end up being "lounge lizards", as most voting ends up being a popularity contest. This is first and foremost an AUDIO site, and some popular members rarely give advice or help out in the other sections. Some have even admitted to not having a car audio system anymore! If a person who never helps out, doesn't even care for car audio, and is immature were voted a mod we'd have a real travesty.

i fit that criteria but i wouldn't let personal feelings effect they way i would moderate. plus i know goob would do what it takes to avoid someone like myself becoming a mod
