I WANTA TRY FU 300 $79 free shipping somebody should try 4 of them

it has nice vc and 20mm xmax WELL MAYBE NOT they have the 750 spec sheet listed on the 300 sub.... yeah I know fu guy hear recommended it to me recently when I was talking about cab and sundown e and I was looking at the lcs but it's $127 same ratings as the fu300 but 300 has more excursion and I think has 3yr warranty. also it recommends basicly my exact box so with same box and amp at least I'd know if it's as loud as my old HP.. u guys think it'll easily handle my 500rms? anyone have real specs on 300?

only way you gonna be louder than your current orion is if you go a step up. Most 12 inch subs in the same power range will have similar amounts of loudness so all your ideas of swapping with any of the cheap woofers you posted will not get you louder, you might lose as well going to a weaker sub.

YEAH but I just like to try different stuff (but now that I gotta pay for it has to be cheap stuff).. I can't find my orion manual one I found online says ported box 1.5 cu ft, a thread on some caf said 2cu ft, my box is in between those, so if it's 1.5cf then smaller box would be better (less boomy) so I was wondering what a sub that fit my box would sound like.. I emailed fu for specs i'll see what they say.. if I get a better more expensive sub I would need better amp too maybe sundown e or American bass lower end would work, of course 1 way to look at it is if I got a bigger sub that fits my box and amp isn't really strong enough to push it hard it may have better sq (less boomy again) but $79 free s&h is great just need actual specs 1st..

Frank has been slacking on posting the TS specs of the new subs.. I tried to get some 1800SPL 15" specs and he gave me the fresh out the box specs..

FU has to have the best re cones I've seen including a nice coil shim and huge bottle of glue. They are cheap too.

WOW u right it's has 2" coil vs 2.5 on 300 but it does look good., still wish I knew xmax neither one has it listed...

And i have a feeling the lcs will be louder. I hate to judge by cosmetics, but the FU motor looks lacking for a 2.5" driver.

thanks man wish I could get fu specs., I was wrong about weight too the lcs is 2 pounds heavier than fu I saw motor pulling force I guess., mms is real low too should push hard with just 300rms idk what 500 will do to it. also has no box size recommendations.. shame no one has tried them yet

Im sure the FU is an adequate sub.

But if its me, im going with the proven company (beyond 1 design, seems the 750 is a good sub), with posted specs, forum help, and a platform in which jacob stated everything was geared toward squeezing the highest performance per dollar (hence no push terminals).

The choice is easy for me. But i dont feel like you would be dissapointed with the fu

The other thing that ***** is i can get B stock E for $95 but don't know what shipping is from cab until i put in all info, if it has free shipping that'd be the way to go for $11 more, also NC company my homeboys..
