ive worked with several inebriated installers. One would smoke at lunch and mid afternoon to get through the day.

I also worked with an alcoholic that would keep a flask in pocket and i would look over and see him sipping while doing an alarm install. He was also on roids

so while i wouldnt recommend any of this it is certainly possible to hold a steady job as an installer while maintaining alcoholism and drug addiction

this is not true ask Cory Hemel that is one of the premier Kicker install shops. his best install Nolan (was on Unique Whips and booted on same show) is almost always stoned and he does awesome work.
